Set Up for Success

Charge the Headset

1. Locate the charging port on the underside of your headset.

2. Connect the charging cable to the headset and a power source.

3. The headset will be fully charged within two hours.
   💡 Tip: A full charge ensures the best connection and test accuracy.

Install the Circl App

1. Open the Apple App Store and search for “Circl Brain.” You can also scan the QR code included in your Circl kit.

2. Download and open the app on your device.

3. Sign in with your Apple ID or create a new Circl account.

Using the Headset

Once your headset is charged and the Circl app is installed, you’re ready to set up your test.

Apply the Neurodiagnostic Paste

1. Use the Circl neurodiagnostic paste provided in your kit.

2. With your fingertip, apply a small amount of paste to each of the four electrode points: the two spiky electrodes on the back of the headset, and the gold-plated areas inside each ear clip.

3. Make sure each area has a thin, even layer of paste — enough to fully cover the contact area but not too much.
   ✅ Good coverage ensures accurate brainwave readings.

Power On and Fit the Headset

1. Press and hold the power button for two seconds until a green light appears.

2. Hold the headset from the back and position it just above your eyebrows.

3. Gently stretch the arms around your head for a comfortable fit.

4. Wiggle the back electrodes slightly to make sure they touch your scalp.

5. Attach the ear clips to both ears.
   Once fitted, open the Circl app — you’re ready to start your test.

Starting a Test

1. Find a quiet space with minimal distractions.

2. Ensure your phone has a strong internet connection and is not in airplane mode.

3. Open the Circl app and tap Start.

4. When prompted, set your phone to Do Not Disturb to prevent notifications from disrupting your brainwave readings.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions for headset positioning.

6. The app will sync with your brainwaves. Once all dots turn green, your headset is fully connected.

7. You’re ready to begin the Oddball game.

Complete Your Test

The Oddball game lasts about four minutes. After finishing:

1. Follow the app instructions to remove the headset carefully.

2. Power it off by holding the power button.

3. Wipe away any leftover paste from the electrodes and ear clips.

4. Plug in the headset to charge for your next session.
