Understanding your Brain Score

So you've got your Circl score, now what does it tell you?

Your brain is unique. We all have a different baseline for what typical cognition looks like.
When you use the Circl headset weekly, you will determine your personal baseline. By
tracking this score over time, you can observe patterns and trends that reflect your brain's
performance under different conditions. This helps you better understand your cognitive
health and make informed lifestyle decisions to optimize your brain health.

Deciphering the results from the Circl Headset is simple, as it revolves around a single,
powerful metric: the Brain Score. This score ranges from 1 to 100, with 100 representing
the highest level of brain access and cognition at the time of the test. After completing a
test, the Circl App will display your Brain Score, offering a clear snapshot of how
effectively your brain is functioning in that moment.

  • Brain Score measures “cognitive energy” and the ability to process information. A higher score reflects better cognitive function, adaptability, and mental endurance,
signifying your ability to manage stress, stay focused, and perform under pressure.
  • Power calculates how many brain cells are firing in synchrony to process visual stimuli. A higher score relates to a better ability to access your intelligence.
  • Reaction measures brain speed— how fast it recognizes and processes what the eye sees.
  • Brainwave Response charts brainwaves in response to visual information. When more of your brain processes new information, there will be a greater difference between your blue and grey brainwave responses.
